Primm Valley Golf Las Vegas is located just 35 minutes south of Las Vegas on the I-15 near the California/Nevada border, the Primm Valley Golf Club is one of the most talked-about and sought-after golf vacation destinations. With two spectacular Tom Fazio-designed courses, PVGC offers, even the finest of golfers, an exciting challenge. And it's all set in a beautiful and unique environment, as only the desert can provide.
Lakes Course -- The Primm Valley Golf Lakes course, which opened in February of 1997, is renown as one of the top ten best new courses in 97' by Golf Digest Magazine. Tom Fazio has created a lush green, golfer's paradise in the middle of the desert with distant mountains and a vast expanse of wilderness as a backdrop. Generous fairways, that slope towards the middle make the course very player friendly. But don't be fooled! The undulating, well-bunkered greens and water hazards will make it difficult to tame this beautiful beast. The course plays to 6,945 yards and a par of 71.
Desert Course -- The Desert Course at Primm Valley Golf Club is like an overshadowed younger brother. For many, the Desert Course is a notch below the Lakes Course, the first Tom Fazio design at Primm. For pure golf and desert beauty, the Desert Course is second to none. But choosing between the Desert Course and Lakes Course is like choosing between pumpkin pie with or without the whipped cream. You can't go wrong either way.
The Desert Course's holes were designed to highlight the surrounding views of the area, and the course feels like it was destined to be where it is. Mountain peaks hovering over gorgeous greens, desert valleys stretching beside generous fairways and blue sky (nearly every day of the year) resemble the work of an artist in contrast to the greens and browns of the golf course. Golf packages are available at any of the Primm Valley Resorts (Buffalo Bill's, Primm Valley and Whiskey Pete's). The Star of the Desert Arena hosts big-name concerts, sporting events and other live extravaganzas. |
