   A scion of Old Vegas, Binion's Gambling Hall & Hotel is a player's resort with a casino that's been a favorite of poker aficionados for years. Throw in great food and comfortable rooms and you have winner.

   Located in the heart of downtown Las Vegas, Binion's does its level best to preserve this town's hard-won reputation as a place for gamblers and high-rollers. The nearby Fremont Street Experience endeavors to make Las Vegas a kind of amusement park, but Binion's continues with business as usual. This is a hotel-casino for adults.

   Binion's 50,000-square-foot casino is where the World Series of Poker and the Hall of Fame Poker Classic were created and though the tournaments have moved to the Rio, Binion's casino is still a favorite of poker aficionados. Caribbean stud and Pai Gow poker, Mini Baccarat, roulette, craps, race and sports books and Keno also are on hand, among many other gaming diversions. The pool area is located on the 25th floor, affording a view of downtown and the Strip. It's worth noting that one of the best inexpensive late-night steak dinners can be had in Binion's Coffee Shop, where it has been served for years.
