Silverstone Upgrades Their GPS System

August, 2007 -- The Silverstone Golf Club has just upgraded their GPS system to the new Inforemer-HD model. The Inforemer is a new GPS technology created by Greg Norman's GPS Industries and it looks to be the new must have for the golf industry. With a 10.4" LCD screen, the Inforemer offers golfers and golf courses numerous options to help play their round and manage the course. Golfers will love the many different layout features the Inforemer has to offer for each course as well as yardage information from anywhere on the course, tips, and even WiFi capabilities. Golf courses will love the options available to them such as tournament scoring, new avenues for advertising, and much more. One of the most appealing features for the Inforemer is the CBS Sportsline ticker that gives golfers up to date scoring and news for their favorite sport.
