Las Vegas, NV -- The name "Tiger Woods" is most often synonymous with success, drive, and charity. This year, one of Tiger Woods' greatest fundraiser's will turn 10. Since its creation in 1998, Tiger Jam has raised more than $10 million for the Tiger Woods Foundation and select Las Vegas based charities through its sold-out performances and one-of-a-kind auction items.
In just ten years, Tiger Jam has garnered a reputation as being one of the premier fundraising events benefiting children in and outside of Las Vegas. Each year, the concert event hosted by Tiger himself, has been a great success for the Tiger Wood's Foundation and the youth-driven charities in Las Vegas, as well as for the VH1 Save the Music Foundation, and the GRAMMY in the Schools program.
Tiger Jam has always had a stellar tradition of featuring amazing performances by some of today's best known musical talent. Grammy Award-winning artists such as Sting, Stevie Wonder, Prince, Bon Jovi, The Goo-Goo Dolls, The Eagles, John Mellencamp, Celine Dion, Train, LeAnn Rimes, Don Henley, Christina Aguilera, Seal, and Babyface have all performed at past Jams. Not only are music's most talented in attendance but some of Hollywood's famous faces also rub shoulders with NFL greats and Olympic Athletes at the event.
This year will be nothing short of a spectacular show of talent, when the one and only Van Halen opens the show April 19, 2008 at The Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas.
