That's right poker fans, the World Series of Poker 2007 main event will be held 7/6 - 7/17/2007 at Rio Suites again. This year should be even better than 2006, which saw close to 9,000 participants with Jamie Gold taking home the grand prize of $12 million. 2007 expects to see even more players flocking to Las Vegas ... perhaps closer to 10,000.

Play begins at the Rio Suites Hotel and Casino on 7/6/2007 at 12:00 PM. The main event will continue until 7/17/2007 when the final table will play for the grand prize. This year's entry fee is still $10,000 but the total purse for the event should increase with the number of players.
